What You'll Do:
- HVAC layouts estimates based on the builders construction plans / building specs.
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing of HVAC for various sized jobs.
- Perform layout and sizing of ductwork, ventilation and mechanical equipment as required to provide a complete system for estimating purposes.
- Maintain all files of all open bids / change-orders as needed.
- Ability to communicate with builders / clients about various aspects of their HVAC project as defined by the projects scope of work.
- Troubleshooting designs with field supervisor, technicians and installers.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the HVAC industry.
What You'll Need:
- Residential experience a must!
- Duct design.
- Manual drafting.
- CAD drafting.
- Estimating.
- Knowledgeable on mechanical, building and energy codes.
Required software skillset:
- Microsoft office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- AutoCAD, Revit or Elite RHVAC experience preferred (at least 1 year).
